We’re currently looking for motivated employees able to work in a seed warehouse. Preferably with prior warehouse and forklift experience. This position involves lifting 50 pounds, standing for a long period, manually mixing, bagging and stacking finished product. Required shift is Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm with some seasonal overtime.

Benefits are offered after a probationary period.

Warehouse Associate

Location:  Lincoln, Nebraska 

Position Type: Full-Time

SUMMARY

Assist in day-to-day warehouse operations.

Operate and maintain a large capacity seed cleaner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving product
  • Picking orders
  • Build & wrap pallets.
  • Custom seed mixing
  • Delivery of product
  • Properly set up, adjust, and operate seed cleaners processing native grass seed.
  • Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care.
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse and seed cleaner organized and clean.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care.
  • Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
  • Work cooperatively with the production team to meet goals.
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area.
  • Assist in day-end clean-up.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently for 6 hours per day.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Ability to operate and maintain large equipment. Basic knowledge of the proper use of tools, equipment, materials, and supplies used at the facility. Employees must be willing to work safely and assist with keeping the work environment safe and clean. Ability to work independently or as a team to complete daily tasks according to the work schedule assigned by the supervisor. Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. Must be able to drive an automobile, van, or light truck. Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Excellent math skills.

A valid Driver’s License

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED, any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
