Native Grass Mix

Native grasses are species that grew naturally a crossed North America prior to European settlement. They covered millions of acres from Manitoba to the Gulf of Mexico. During the mid-1800s most of they fields were destroyed for agricultural crops. Our native grass mixes are designed to bring back the natural beauty of North America. Once established, native grasses can thrive with very little maintenance. Their deep roots make them ideal for erosion control and drought survival. The grasses alone can provide excellent wildlife habitat but can easily be enhanced by adding wildflower to the mix.
